Have A Plan - Take the stress out of holiday eating. 

 
 


 A plan allows for more joy and less guilt. I’m all about worthwhile cheats during the holidays along with finding balance in my intake. 


DETERMINE WHAT YOU WANT TO SPLURGE ON?

Before attending a festivity, determine what you want to splurge on. Is it the cheese tray, dessert, wine, champagne or it’s a little everything? Personally, I try a little of everything, but I stick to small portions and have only one. 


DRINK PLENTY OF WATER

Between drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert, drink plenty of water. Water will help with digesting, keeping you full, and your sugar level spiking. Also, keep you hydrated.


FIND JOY

Stay present and find joy in the moment. Surrounding yourself with positivity, laughter and good cheer improves your health and digestion. The opposite can lead to overeating, over drinking and unhealthy behavior. Be self-aware.


STICK TO YOUR PLAN

Make good choices this holiday season. Be in the moment and refrain from over indulging. Stick to your plan and enjoy!
